Manjgura won two regional the! awards for crisis communication and event communication
After already winning four prestigious professional awards this year, Manjgura Agency continued its great streak on Thursday at the KOMferencija in Split, winning two more awards – the! award – silver for crisis communication and bronze for event communication.
For the campaign with the Croatian Judges Association “Justice Served: How We Achieved The Largest Increase Of Judges’ Salaries In History”, Manjgura won the only award in the Crisis communication category. This was a months-long campaign in 2023/2024 during which Manjgura provided communication support to the Croatian Judges Association, culminating in the largest salary increase for judges in recent Croatian history. Manjgura’s team for the Croatian Judges Association included founder and director Krešimir Macan, senior consultant Anamarija Hrvoić Đurić, and junior consultant Dora Novak.
“This is already the fourth professional recognition for the campaign that made a historic step forward in the communication of the justice sector. Through a ten-month, very dynamic and intensive project, we showed the importance of clear and timely communication, but the key was the perseverance of the judges who decided to initiate this change”, said Krešimir Macan, thanking the Croatian Judges Association for their trust and successful cooperation.
Before the! award, Manjgura and Croatian Judges Association won two Polaris awards for political communication in London and the IPRA GWA (International Public Relations Association Golden World Awards) in Belgrade.
Manjgura won the award for the “Sales Mindset Conference: The Wolf Strikes Again” campaign in the Event communication category with a conference held in November 2023 in Zagreb where the “real” Wolf of Wall Street, Jordan Belfort, has shone as the main star. The well-known American shared his experiences in business, leadership and marketing in front of a sold-out hall, but he also reflected on his dark period and time spent in prison, as well as the knowledge he gained from it.
“In a period in which there were around 20 conferences of a similar type to choose from, it was a big challenge to stand out with the content and attract the audience. But considering the turnout, as well as the positive effects, such as the growth in the number of members of the Sales Mindset club and the spread of the concept in the region, all achieved goals show that as a result we have the most successful sales conference of the decade,” said Anamarija Hrvoić Đurić, senior consultant in Manjgura’s team, which also included consultants Marja Čolak and Dora Novak.
Earlier this year, for the conference “Sales Mindset: The Wolf Strikes Again”, Manjgura also won the golden Grand PRix of the Croatian Association for Public Relations.
The expert jury, which evaluated 32 applications this year, was composed of a total of 18 regional experts, representatives of agencies, companies and institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and North Macedonia.
The! award is a recognition of the profession for excellent projects in public relations in Southeast Europe and is awarded to the most outstanding communication projects. Its goal is to raise the reputation of the profession in the public, promote excellence in communication, continuously review and improve the principles of good business and the fundamental values of public relations.
