After the COVID break, Golden Drum rewarded the greatest creatives
This year, the 27th edition of the Golden Drum Festival awarded 46 bronze drums, 41 silver drums, 30 gold drums, and 14 Grand Prix in different groups and categories.
For the second year in a row, Publicis Italy from Milan was awarded the title of Agency of the Year, contributing to the overall success of Publicis, which collected the most points and became famous as the Network of the Year.
The Independent Agency of the Year award went to the Voskhod agency from Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation.
The best brand to leave a mark on the 27th festival edition by winning the Brand Grand Prix was Burger King with as many as 2 Grand Prix awards, 6 gold drums, 4 silver drums, and 2 bronze drums.
In the Adriatic region, UM Belgrade, part of McCann Belgrade, was named the most successful for the “Thank you, doctors” campaign, while Jason Romeyko, global executive creative director of Serviceplan Group, was included in the Golden Drum Hall of Fame.
After a year break, due to the global pandemic, the festival returned with a 25% increase in entries in the renewed festival competition, while this year’s awards, made of environmentally friendly, natural, and recycled elements, are of particular interest.
