Two Campaigns Place Manjgura Among the Finalists of the 11th HUOJ Grand PRix
The Croatian Public Relations Association (HUOJ) has received a large number of entries for their 11th Grand PRix, including two political campaigns by Manjgura in the award category Grand PRix in Political Communications.
The first nominated campaign was conducted in cooperation with HDZ Šibenik for the Mayoral and City Council elections of the City of Šibenik. In our presentation the jury will hear first-hand how, for the first time ever, the people of Šibenik elected the same Mayor. The second campaign up for an award that the Manjgura team worked on is the one behind the County of Zagreb’s HSS candidate in the Zagreb County Council elections. The title of the campaign was “Stjepan Kožić – The Right Man in the Right Place”.
Manjgura worked strategically with all its clients to ensure their victory in all the political campaigns it was involved in during the 2017 local elections in Croatia. With victories on all fronts, the agency once again established its position as an agency with unprecedented experience in this sector as well. Due to the all-round great results, it was not easy to choose which campaigns to enter for the prize.
The decision finally fell on the Šibenik campaign, which will be presented by the already experienced Manjgura Consultant on Political Communication Gordan Turković, and the Zagreb County HSS campaign, which will be presented by our junior consultant Filip Pavelić. Our two team members will compete for the award alongside all the finalists from all competition categories on 8th March at Matis Absolut Lounge in Zagreb. We are particularly pleased to see Filip present his first project on behalf of Manjgura, since earning the trust of his more senior colleagues back in 2013 thanks to his knowledge and skills and becoming a permanent member of Manjgura’s political campaign advisory team at the young age of 21.
HUOJ’s Grand PRix is a unique professional award, which celebrates excellence among PR professionals in Croatia in the design and implementation of public relation campaigns and a shared contribution to the development of the profession and its transparency towards the professional and wider Croatian public. The award itself is a valuable acknowledgment of the effort. As highlighted by the Croatian Public Relations Association, the particular value of the Grand PRix is the exchange of experiences and best practices in the profession in Croatia.
