On June 20, Croatian parliament adopted a decision of its dissolution to take effect on July 15. From that day on, Constitutional deadlines for early parliamentary elections started, and according to the constitution, elections must be held at least 30 and no later than 60 days after Parliament was dismissed.<\/p>\n
President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovi\u0107 called the elections for September 11, and the decision will become valid with its publication in the Official Gazette on July 30.
\nPolitical parties and independent lists then have 14 days to submit their lists to the State Electoral Commission \u2013 from July 31 at 0:00 until August 13 at 24:00. Within 48 hours after the deadline has passed, no later than August 15 at 24:00, the State Electoral Commission will publicly announce the cumulative list of all valid lists, as well as the candidates for the 12th constituency.<\/p>\n
Campaign advertising, or election campaign, will commence<\/strong> with the day the lists and the candidates in the 12th constituency are officially published, no later than August 16 at 0:00 h<\/strong>, and it will end 24 hours before the elections, on September 9 at 24:00. Campaign advertising for voters abroad will end on September 8 at 24:00 h. Election silence is enforced from 0:00h on September 10 until 19:00h on September 11.
