{"id":40104,"date":"2021-05-31T15:23:49","date_gmt":"2021-05-31T13:23:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/manjgura.hr\/?p=40104"},"modified":"2021-05-31T15:26:31","modified_gmt":"2021-05-31T13:26:31","slug":"project-cancer-fighters-croatia-against-cancer-in-the-finals-of-mixx-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/manjgura.hr\/en\/media-relations\/project-cancer-fighters-croatia-against-cancer-in-the-finals-of-mixx-awards","title":{"rendered":"Project Cancer Fighters (Croatia Against Cancer) in the Finals of MIXX Awards as One of the Best Communication Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The prestigious<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/danikomunikacija.com\/awards\/mixx\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MIXX competition<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, developed under the IAB license, selects the best domestic communication projects that lead the industry with their <\/span><b>creativity, strategy, performance, media use, and achieved results<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span> This year, our project<strong> Cancer Fighters<\/strong> (Croatia Against Cancer, in Croatian Rakoborci &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/hrvatskaprotivraka.hr\">Hrvatska protiv raka<\/a>) qualified for the <strong>finals<\/strong> of the <strong>Cross-Media Integration Campaign<\/strong> category.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JJlZ-Wy8f3k\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Manjgura<\/strong> executed the project <strong>Rakoborci<\/strong>\u00a0for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kuz.hr\">Coalition of health associations<\/a> and association <a href=\"https:\/\/www.svezanju.hr\/\">EVERYTHING for HER<\/a> last year when the priority of the clients was the adoption of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sabor.hr\/en\/press\/news\/health-minister-presents-national-cancer-prevention-strategy\">National Cancer Strategic Framework by 2030<\/a> (NCSF).<\/p>\n<p>Although the Parliament defined a deadline of one year in 2009 for the adoption of the Plan against Cancer, five governments have changed and none of them met that goal. At the end of 2020, <strong>Croatia was still the only EU member without such a strategic document<\/strong>, and if the year had ended without its adoption, <strong>we would have lost the opportunity to use dedicated EU funds for our fight against cancer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Manjgura managed to achieve the following goals alongside our main goal &#8211;<strong> the adoption of the NCSF in less than 2 months<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Ensure the support of both the executive and the legislature branches<\/strong><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Present the topic as non-partisan<\/strong> &#8211; by including as many different policy options as possible, a message was sent about the importance of adopting a strategy and the fact that the fight against cancer does not serve to collect political points, but requires support beyond a government&#8217;s mandate<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Position the topic in the media and public space despite the pandemic<\/strong> &#8211; in the mainstream media and central news programs<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Create a long-term sustainable platform for the needs of communication support<\/strong> for the implementation of the NCSF<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While this project may be over, the fight against cancer will continue for a long time.
