The Golden Drum Festival 2023 has wrapped up with the Golden Drum Awards Show, powered by Mastercard, held on 10 October. The Festival finally returned to its roots in Portoro\u017e where we celebrated creativity together, amidst the charm of the Adriatic coast<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"Golden<\/p>\n

The juries\u00a0granted 50 Bronze Drum,\u00a037 Silver Drum, 29 Golden Drum, and\u00a012 Grand Prix\u00a0awards across various groups and categories. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The prestigious title of Agency of\u00a0the\u00a0Year<\/strong> was bestowed upon LePub<\/strong>, while McCann Worldgroup <\/strong>collected\u00a0the\u00a0most points and was celebrated as\u00a0the\u00a0Network of\u00a0the\u00a0Year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The best brand leaving a mark and receiving the Brand Grand Prix<\/strong> is Mastercard<\/strong>. Marcin Sosi\u0144ski, McCann Poland<\/strong>, the creative director behind the campaign \u201cWhere to Settle\u201d<\/strong>, earned the prestigious title of the Creative Director of the Year<\/strong>, this year powered by Elan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The title of the\u00a0Independent Agency of\u00a0the\u00a0Year<\/strong>, supported by Allfred.io,<\/strong> was awarded to THIS IS LOCCO <\/strong>from Bratislava.<\/p>\n

Production Agency of the Year<\/strong> became the Israeli agency Mud production<\/strong>, while the title of the Digital Agency of the Year<\/strong> went to MRM Romania<\/strong>. This year marked the debut of the Media Agency of the Year<\/strong>, supported by BH Telecom, <\/strong>and the award went to UM Romania<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The All Juries section awarded Best of Genius Loci<\/strong>, an award celebrating local works that present their distinctive local spirit, to McCann Poland <\/strong>for \u201cWhere to Settle\u201d<\/strong>, made for their client Mastercard<\/strong>. The Best of Social Good<\/strong> award<\/strong> and the Game Changer award<\/strong>, powered by Telemach Slovenia<\/strong>, were withheld by the jury.<\/p>\n

The most successful agency from\u00a0the\u00a0Adriatic Region, receiving the\u00a0special\u00a0Adriatic Agency of\u00a0the\u00a0Year award<\/strong>, powered by Zavarovalnica Triglav,<\/strong>\u00a0became\u00a0Via Media<\/strong> from Bosnia and Herzegovina with \u201cBingo\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The newest Hall of Fame member<\/strong> is\u00a0Catalin Dobre Co-CEO and Chief Creative Officer, McCann Worldgroup Romania, & Regional Creative Director, McCann CEE.<\/strong> He now joins the esteemed cohort of creative visionaries who have not only inspired but have profoundly influenced the world of creativity as we know it.<\/p>\n

The best creative solution to the brief of the Young Drummers Competition<\/strong>, powered by Slovenian Tourist Organization <\/strong>is \u201cWhen it’s a Match!\u201d<\/strong> made by Paul Schneider<\/strong> from Schneider.Studio, Yerevan, Armenia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The winners took home sustainable trophies made from environmentally friendly materials.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The festival wanted to inspire and empower creative thinking and action for positive change in many different ways, shining a light on it through its competition and congress program. The Golden Drum Festival was chosen as one of the seven regional award shows included in WARC Rankings.<\/p>\n
