The agency Manjgura won the GWA Trophy Plate in the public sector category for the campaign “Justice Served: Historic Rise of Judges’ Salaries”<\/a>. This was a months-long campaign in 2023\/2024 during which Manjgura provided communication support to the Croatian Judges Association, culminating in the largest salary increase for judges in recent Croatian history. The individual approach and comprehensive solutions that Manjgura offers its clients were once again the winning combination”, said Kre\u0161imir Macan, congratulating the Croatian Judges Association on their determination and courage to correct the long-standing injustice of unequal salaries in public services.<\/p>\n “For years, our method of communication was met with silence from the authorities. With the support of communication experts, we managed to articulate our demands in a way that was understood by decision-makers, the media, and the public. The support from the public and all stakeholders in the judicial sector visibly grew, making it impossible for the authorities to ignore our demands any longer, forcing them to respond”, stated Judge Kolinda Kolar on behalf of the Croatian Judges Association.<\/p>\n This is Manjgura’s third award for its work with the Croatian Judges Association. Earlier this year, the agency won two Polaris awards for political communication in London<\/a>. This is also Manjgura’s fourth prestigious accolade in 2024, following the gold at the Grand PRix of the Croatian Public Relations Association for the conference “Sales Mindset: The Wolf Strikes Again”<\/a>, featuring keynote speaker Jordan Belfort, known as the Wolf of Wall Street<\/p>\n Before the Gala dinner, the PR Summit “Trust is PRiority”<\/a> took place, focusing on topics such as the ethical use of artificial intelligence and the growing distrust in public discourse. Kre\u0161imir Macan was one of the panelists, contributing to the discussion on the challenges facing the PR industry in the era of rapid technological advancements.<\/p>\n A total of 80 awards were presented across 38 categories. In addition to the work for the Croatian Judges Association, eight more campaigns from Croatia were awarded, with a total of 11 awards for 9 campaigns, including excellent projects from 404 agency, A1, Abeceda komunikacija, CTA komunikacija, Hrvatski Telekom, and Millenium promocija. This brings the total number of global awards for Croatian PR since 2015, along with 16 previously won IPRA GWA awards, to 27.<\/p>\n IPRA GWA 2024 winners from Croatia<\/p><\/div>\n This year is particularly significant for the Croatian and regional PR scene. Earlier this year, Nata\u0161a Pavlovi\u0107 Bujas, owner of Blumen Group, assumed the role of IPRA president<\/a>, and the final jurying for the IPRA GWA took place in Zagreb<\/a>, hosted by Manjgura, with Kre\u0161imir Macan and Marina Bolan\u010da serving as jury members<\/a>. This year also saw the founding of the regional IPRA chapter, the Alpe-Balkan-Adria Chapter<\/a> (ABA Chapter), which brings together PR professionals from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia, with the aim of promoting ethical standards, sharing global knowledge and experiences, and strengthening professional cooperation within the region.
