Manjgura agency in London received two international awards for political communication

London, June 22, 2024 – As the only agency from Croatia, Manjgura won two Polaris, prestigious global awards for political communication, on Friday in London.

The awards came for cooperation with the Association of Croatian Judges, a project that resulted in the largest and well-deserved increase in judges’ salaries in recent history, and an improvement in the financial status of the third branch of government after more than twenty years.

An international jury composed of as many as 51 renowned communication experts evaluated projects from all over the world, and awarded Manjgura two bronze Polaris in the Non-Governmental Organizations category for Governance and Policy change. No gold was awarded in both categories.

“We are extremely proud of this recognition of ten months of work, especially when we know what kind of campaigns were in competition. The individual approach and comprehensive solutions that Manjgura offers to clients proved to be a winning combination this time as well. We also thank the judges for their trust, we are proud to have helped correct a long-standing injustice”, said Krešimir Macan, director of Manjgura, head of the team, which also included senior consultant Anamarija Hrvoić Đurić and junior consultant Dora Novak.

With these awards, Manjgura continues the winning streak that began by winning the Grand PRrix of the Croatian Public Relations Association for the project Prodajni Mindset: The Wolf of Wall Street. The third and fourth finals of this year are coming soon – for the IPRA GWA award, also known as the PR Oscar, which is also the world’s oldest competition in the field of public relations, for both of the aforementioned works – The Wolf of Wall Street and the Association of Croatian Judges.

The Polaris Prize is awarded under the auspices of the European Association of Political Consultants (EAPC), the International Association of Political Consultants (IAPC) and the Latin American Association of Political Consultants (ALCP). The organizers explain that Polaris is another name for the North Star, the brightest star visible in the northern hemisphere. Just as it has guided humanity and many researchers and leaders to their goals for thousands of years, so political advisors guide candidates, political parties, movements and leaders today.
